Roach Brothers Limited is a family run general Building Contractor undertaking a wide range of construction and decorating projects. The company was established in 1946 and prides itself on the provision of high quality workmanship.

The company is run by two directors, supported by two full time office staff, and employs a full time multi-skilled team of operatives and one apprentice. The permanent workforce is supplemented as work dictates by a long established database of sub-contractors.

The last five years have seen a steady growth in business with a turnover for the year 2009 of £1.9M. This could be broken down into three main client bases: Insurance, Local Authority/Commercial and Private.

Our insurance works cover all perils such as fire, flood, subsidence and impact damage.

Commercial works include working for property managers, chartered surveyors, local schools and business encompassing maintenance and repair works, general building and decorating works.

Private works range from maintenance and decoration works, through kitchen/bathroom/internal and external refurbishments, to extensions, loft conversions and new build.

Our preferred working area is within the BR, CR, GU, KT, RH, SE, SM, SW and TN postal codes.

We have official policies for Health and Safety, Equal Opportunities, and Environmental Protection and Certificate of Accreditation for the Contractors Health & Safety Assessment Scheme (CHAS), statement copies of these are available on request.

We carry Employers Liability and Public Liability insurances, copy certificates being available on request.

Philip Roach is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Building and is current Chairman of the Federation of Master Builders Sutton & South East London Branch.

The company is a warranted member of the FMB, a member of the NHBC and a member of the Safer Sutton Trader Scheme.
